Motor Repairing Division

This division is capable of executing rewinding, repairing & overhauling works on rotating machines of capacity up to 5000 KW.

Our Services:

• Rewinding of LV, MV & HV AC motors & generators
• Rewinding of DC motors including traction motor field & armatures
• Overhauling of all types & sizes of electrical rotating apparatus
• Motor shaft replacements
• Re-build worn-out rotor shafts and bearing housings
• Dynamic balancing services for all type of rotors (Up to 45 Ton)
• Staggering of stator and rotor core pack and rebuilding them to give new service life
• Replacement of copper cage bars and rings in squirrel cage rotors
• Supply and installation of commutators for DC motors
• Supply and installation of sliprings
• Supply of carbon brushes and brush holder assemblies
• Supply and installation of copper / brass rotor bars
• Supply of all types of rewinding kits including magnetic wedges
• Re-babbitting of white metal journal guide and tilting pad bearings
• Vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI)
